If you're interested in expanding the capabilities
of your laser system, or even in creating completely custom tools
for your own use, Pangolin has the answer for you -- the LD2000
Software Development Kit (LD2000 SDK).
The LD2000 SDK includes full
documentation of the functions and data structures inside the
LD2000.DLL -- our 32-bit Dynamic Link Library for Windows. The
LD2000 SDK also includes software examples in Visual Basic, C/C++
and Delphi.
The LD2000.DLL is built on our time-proven API of
well over 200 laser-specific functions that allow you to control all
aspects of a laser projector including scanning control, color
control and DMX input and output. In addition to projector controls,
the LD2000.DLL also includes functions for reading and writing of
point and frame data, loading and saving files, real-time 3D
image manipulation, drawing into a window with GDI and OpenGL, color
conversions, and a lot more. There are even functions for automatic
beam path routing and point placement calculations.
The LD2000 SDK is the
foundation of Pangolin's core products -- Lasershow Designer and
Showtime. In addition, the LD2000 SDK is used by all of our other
products as well including Autoplay, VST2002, LivePRO, Lasershow
Converter MAX and the new Lasershow Converter FLASH.
In addition to being used by all of our products,
the LD2000 SDK is also used on the following third-party projects:
In fact, in recent months, even our competitors have started
using the LD2000.DLL in their products. This demonstrates just
how powerful and open the LD2000 SDK is.
The
LD2000 SDK also includes the full source code for our Asteroids
Laser Game. This is an open-source project that you can extend,
change or just use as an example of how to do real-time 3D
projects in laser.
We are proud to announce the addition of Delphi support,
including a full Delphi header, and an example program that
demonstrates several aspects of the LD2000 SDK.
