Cambridge Technology Inc., 109 Smith Place, Cambridge, MA 02138, (617) 923-1181, fax 924-8378. www.camtech.com
Cambridge was the first manufacturer to demonstrate high-speed 30,000 pts/sec (ILDA 30K) performance. They produce fast, wide-angle scanners and amps at a reasonable price. The models 6800 and 6210 include a scanner and mounted mirror for about $495. Cambridge's scanner amp board, model 6588, is a single-channel board for $295; it includes a 3-meter interface cable. Cambridge also offers an X-Y mount, model 6108, for $125; it comes in a left-handed or right-handed version depending on which side the beam enters the mount.
Cambridge also makes scanners with larger mirrors for specialized applications, such as wider beams from fiber optic feeds and from YAG lasers. Due to the larger mirrors, the top speed of these scanners, models 6810 and 6850, is reduced.

Lighting Systems Design Inc., 4625 Winter Garden Rd. #A2, Orlando, FL 32811, (407) 299-9504. www.lsdi.com
LSDI produces projectors and subassemblies, and can supply parts. They produce a number of products for laser show use.

Finally, LSDI also makes the Universal Geometric Corrector (above). It fully compensates for any problems caused when a laser projector must be placed at an angle to a screen, such as rear projection, keystoning, non-linearity and shear. It also compensates for problems of projection onto curved surfaces, such as pincushion or barrel distortion. The UGC is $400 as a board or $600 in a chassis with power supply.

NEOS Technology Inc., 4300-C Fortune Place, West Melbourne, FL 32904, (407) 676-9020, fax 722-4499. www.neostech.com
NEOS sells a >polychromatic acousto-optic modulator (PCAOM), to be used in full-color projectors. Drivers are available in 4-, 6- and 8-channel versions; we recommend the latter two. (Each channel controls one laser wavelength.) A complete system, with PCAOM crystal and 8-channel driver in a chassis is about $3000.
NEOS also sells a 4-channel, $1000 PCAOM, intended for relatively low power applications (< 5W).
