2008 Pangolin User Meeting report		The Pangolin Prize showcases the best laser presentations from around the world, produced using Pangolin software. This year, we had 19 entries for the Pangolin Prize competition. During the awards presentation, all entries were played direct from computer for the audience of around 20 people who voted for their favorites. Despite the large number of entries this year, the point-spread between the first, second and third place winners was quite close. After reviewing the scores, it was also decided to award an Honorable Mention to a show which not only had a very high score, but also caused an particularly long discussion during the meeting. We would like to thank everyone who participated, and would like to congratulate the 2008 winners!
	1st	"Standing in motion" beam show Johannes Coppes, Laser Presentation, GERMANY Johannes wins $1000 cash or credit towards any Pangolin software purchase, and will receive an award plaque.
	2nd	"Carol of the bells" beam show Doug Cenko, Strictly FX, ILLINOIS, USA Strictly FX wins $500 cash or credit towards any Pangolin software purchase, and will receive an award plaque.
	3rd	"Rhythm is a dancer" graphic show Harry de Boer, DTL Lasertechnology, THE NETHERLANDS DTL wins $250 cash or credit towards any Pangolin software purchase, and will receive an award plaque.
	HM	"We Are The Champions" graphic show Jay Heck, LFI International, USA LFI will receive an award plaque.
		Free shows for Pangolin users As a bonus for Pangolin users, three of the winning shows, Laser Presentations' "Standing In Motion", DTL's "Rhythm is a dancer", and LFI's "We are the champions" will be provided for free to all LD2000 users as part of a future update.
