success with around 20 people in attendance from around the world.
This year, the Pangolin User Meeting was

Demonstration of
new features, LC-Flash and LC-ADAT
During this portion of the meeting, the new
features of the LD2000 system were demonstrated, including updates
to Projection Zones, DMX and
Enhanced Reality Preview.
In addition to the discussion of
LD2000 features, several completely new products were shown
including Lasershow
Converter FLASH and Lasershow Converter ADAT -- a new Lasershow
Converter family member that allows you to convert shows originally
recorded on ADAT directly into Pangolin-compatible frames and shows.
During this portion of the meeting, a few new
hardware products were shown which will soon be available from
Pangolin. One of them is a USB option for the
Flashback series of
laser controllers. Another is a new rack-mountable and network-able
QM2000 called the QM2000/Net, which can be embedded directly into
laser projectors for convenient network connection instead of long
analog cable runs. More information on these products will be
available soon. Keep an eye on the
What's New section of the Pangolin web site...
Pangolin continued its tradition of providing a wide variety of
foods to choose from. This year we offered a buffet with a wide
variety of meal choices and deserts as well as a full complement of beverages.
This year, we had 28 entries for the Pangolin
Prize competition. This is on par with the number that we received
over the past two years. All entries were EXCELLENT and two thirds were created with
Lasershow Converter MAX or
Lasershow Converter
FLASH. Because of the timing of this year's meeting, this
Pangolin Prize competition actually covers both 2004 and 2005.
