Each year, the Pangolin Prize entries showcases the best laser
            presentations from around the world.
This year, we had 32 entries for the Pangolin Prize competition.
This is more than the number of entries received in any prior
year. All entries were EXCELLENT and about half of the entries were
            created using Lasershow
            Converter MAX.

Separate Categories for Beams and Graphics

With the large number of entries, we felt that it was time to expand
the Pangolin Prize to have two categories -- one for Graphics and one for Beams.

            The Judging Process

During the awards presentation, all entries were played direct
from computer for the audience of around 40
people who voted for their favorite.
Despite the large number of entries this year, the point-spread
between the first, second and third place winners was quite
close. In fact, there was only a one point difference between the
First Place and Second Place winners in the Beams category.
